1) Sri Lankan Business Delegation in Canada

We are proud to partner with the Export Development Board of Sri Lanka, the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Toronto, and the Canada–Sri Lanka Business Convention for a special evening of B2B meetings and networking in honor of the Sri Lankan business delegation attending SIAL Canada 2025 in Toronto.

We’re excited to support this initiative by presenting insights on the Canadian market landscape to the visiting exporters from Sri Lanka, and to help strengthen trade and business ties between our two countries.

2) Chartered legacy Gala 2025 – Vancouver

The Chapter plans to host its inaugural Gala event in in Vancouver, bringing together CA Sri Lanka members living in British Columbia for a night of celebration and networking.

3) Hub Magazine

The Hub Magazine Project is a lifestyle and business magazine initiative originally started by the Kuwait Chapter of CA Sri Lanka. The Canada Chapter has now taken the lead and will partner with Vijaya Newspapers to publish the magazine. This collaboration aims to promote Sri Lanka and its business landscape.

4) Mayor's trophy cricket tournament

The CIMA Mayor’s Trophy Cricket, hosted by CIMA Canada will take place at Sunnybrook Park in Toronto. This event will bring together Mayor Olivia Chow, representatives from Toronto Police, Toronto Housing, and City of Toronto staff, alongside the local cricket community, to celebrate the sport’s ability to unite diverse communities, foster inclusivity, and promote social cohesion.

Launched in 2005 by CIMA Canada in collaboration with the City of Toronto’s Parks, Forestry, and Recreation division, the annual Mayor’s Cricket Trophy has supported school cricket programs in Toronto and contributed to the growth of OSCA.

This year, the CA Sri Lanka Canada Chapter will field a team for the first time, adding an exciting new chapter to the event’s history.

5) CPD Webinar Series

Continuing the tradition of providing Continuing Professional Development webinars, the Chapter will host sessions specifically tailored to Sri Lankans residing in Canada regularly.
