1) Hub Magazine

The Hub Magazine Project is a lifestyle and business magazine initiative originally started by the Kuwait Chapter of CA Sri Lanka. The Canada Chapter has now taken the lead and will partner with Vijaya Newspapers to publish the magazine. This collaboration aims to promote Sri Lanka and its business landscape.

Planned Timeline: Completion by January 2025, with the launch date to be finalized.

2) Canada Newcomers Guide

A comprehensive guide designed to provide essential information for newcomers to Canada, set to be launched in September 2024.

3) CPD Webinar Series

Continuing the tradition of providing Continuing Professional Development webinars, the Chapter will host sessions specifically tailored to Sri Lankans residing in Canada regularly.

4) Eco Pulse: The ESG Webinar Series

The Chapter will launch a webinar series featuring experts in Sustainability and ESG to raise awareness and educate accounting professionals on these critical topics.

5) H&R Block Tax Course

This premier tax course in Canada will be supported by the Chapter, enabling members to complete the three-month course. Successful candidates can pursue full-time or part-time employment at H&R Block during the tax season in 2025.

6) Members Bowling Night – Toronto

The Chapter is organizing its first get-together event in Toronto, offering a fun-filled event for all CA Sri Lanka members and their families, with numerous activities planned.

7) Annual Gala Event – Vancouver

The Chapter plans to host its inaugural Gala event in in Vancouver, bringing together CA Sri Lanka members living in British Columbia for a night of celebration and networking.

8) Reignite Sri Lanka Business Forum

Initially launched by the CA Sri Lanka Australia Chapter, the Canada Chapter plans to host its first business forum in 2025, aiming to foster business connections and opportunities.
